What I’ve Learned From My Two Year Old

  • Snow is amazing. It falls like white confetti from the sky. It is cold (Brrr!). You can build things with it. You can jump in it. It is delicious.
  • Sometimes sitting on the floor and playing with blocks is all you need to quell a tantrum.
  • “Love you, Mama” are three of the greatest words you could ever hear.
  • French fries can evoke an excitement you never thought possible.
  • Even on its 100th read, “The Juggling Pug” is just as good as the first time.
  • A hug is worth a thousand words.
  • Leaving someone who’s company you enjoy is heartwrenchingly sad.
  • Bubbles rock.
  • Snuggling is never underrated.
  • Please and Thank You will never go out of style.
  • Technology is magical. And it’s nice to know magic still exists.
  • A kiss really does make it all better.

  1. That was quite the enjoyable read. It takes me back about 34 years ago! It reminds me that the simpler things in life are so satisfying. I'm glad you are putting onto “paper” for all posterity. Go Momma Go!
